The OEM side view mirrors on the Model Y is poorly designed with by far the narrowest view of any mirror of all the cars I’ve driven. After owning the Model Y for a year, I finally pulled the trigger on these wide angle mirrors. What a huge difference it has made for my safety because my blind spot is gone! This is something I should have replaced Day 1 of ownership, certainly a must have for any Model Y owner.

Great experience, including making a last minute change from clear to "blue" mirrors. Removal of the old and installation of the new mirrors was easy with the assistance of online videos. The improvement in blindspot detection was better than expected.

The mirrors definitely improve the blind side vision. However the drivers side mirror does not adjust very far so I can’t get it moving outwards more than what is pictured.

In June, 2021, I bought SUMA Performance Side Mirrors with Defroster for Tesla Model Y at $160/pair. Though expensive, the mirrors make a wonderful improvement to visibility, and given the Model Y's small side mirrors and small, dark view in the rear-view mirror, I classify this upgrade as very nearly a necessity. I was concerned there would be a downside to the expanded field of view, but, thankfully, my wife and I find that the SUMA side mirrors are all benefit. Installation was easy and required no tools, just a bit of nerve to grip and pop out the original mirrors. Be aware that the SUMA product supports Tesla's defrost feature/connections, but NOT the auto-dimming feature/connection. I definitely recommend this product to others, but do wish the price was closer to $100/pair.

Hands down the best and most important purchase for Tesla Model Y! This car does not have real blind spot monitoring capability due to missing hardware (yes, the yellow side mirror light that is present on basically every car made in the past 10 years).
The omission of this critical feature combined with the small OEM side mirrors made this car challenging to drive, especially in the city where one has to constantly navigate around bicyclists, pedestrians, and cars.
The Suma mirrors greatly expand what the side view mirrors are able to reflect and now I can easily see across 2+ lanes on each side, which greatly improves my confidence while driving. It’s crazy that these aren’t standard on Teslas!
Heated mirrors work as expected. I got the non-tinted version and this does remove the auto-dimming side mirrors capability of the car, but this was an awfully implemented feature by Tesla anyways and something I disabled immediately anyways. Buy these mirrors today. You will not regret it!!

Super easy to install and only takes a minute or two to install each sideview mirror. Eliminates blindspots and fit is perfect. I knew what to expect in terms of quality as this is my second set of wide angle mirrors from Suma Performance.

These mirrors did exactly what I needed. No more blind spots and, surprisingly, no material distortion of distance to the cars approaching from the rear in the adjacent lanes. Took me 10 minutes to install both of them.

The quality of these is great, but struggling with the distortion of the drivers side mirror. The passenger mirror is perfect, but the driver side mirror needs to be adjusted pretty far out to the max which creates a very awkward distortion. It almost gives me a headache looking at it. The convex wide angle view is nice, but takes some getting used it. I like it, I just don't love it.

The mirrors are great, period. There’s plenty of good reviews about the mirrors (I purchased the blue + defroster for my Model Y) but not enough about the great customer service. I sent an email to Suma about an issue with a 3rd party and Eddy responded right away and helped me out. That was a big relief. Thanks again, Eddy!

The install was easy. I found information online prior to doing it myself. Once the old mirror popped off, the new Suma Performance went into place with no problem. I decided to go with the non glare finish as I have tinted windows and did not want to make it too hard to see in darkness.

The fact that these mirrors look extremely dope is the bonus! The safety factor is why you want to have these mirrors on your vehicle. This will totally change your driving perspective you will see so much more and feel extremely confident in your surroundings and changing lanes.
